My kids have always enjoyed coming here as it’s a fun place. We ended up having a problem and when I called in about it the response from The Penguin School was AWESOME. Keanu in particular who handled my call was fantastic. He even remembered meeting my kids when we first started a few years earlier, and recalled in detail the conversation he and I had at that time pertaining to my son. There’s no business out there that is perfect, you just want to feel valued as a customer if something goes wrong. The Penguin School listened to me and offered a great solution. Instead of being upset over the situation, it reinforced that we’re at a great swim school and we remain loyal and happy customers! ~ Joe C

This is our first time attending summer swim clinic program at Pengu and it really exceeded our expectations ! We have Coach Noah for a week for intermediate level class and my son made so much progress. He is finally swimming independently! Coach Noah is very thorough with different techniques during the courses and each course I noticed new skills gained and I see the huge improvement from my son. Coach Noah also made the class super fun that my six year old is asking for more classes. I also love the daily reinforcement of summer clinic and build up that muscle memory in the water quickly. It is well worth the money and we are looking forward to attend more summer clinics in the future! ~ Alison W

My daughter has been attending Pengu Towne Lake for nine months and has gone from being afraid to put her face in the water to capably swimming both freestyle and backstroke. She loves her lessons and looks forward to them every week. Her swim coach Chayce is a fantastic teacher and has made her feel comfortable and safe in the water while also teaching her excellent swimming technique. I really appreciate how nice the facilities are, how clean it is, and how warm and comfortable the water and pool area are. I also love how you can easily check on your swimmer’s progress in their parent portal. I am so grateful to Pengu and highly recommend them! ~ Sara F

My son has been in Pengu for 5 years and has learnt a lot of skills in swimming. Have changed several coaches over the period of the time based on his progress and some time there wasn’t much of the progress. He finally crossed the advanced and in the pro league. My daughter is the toddler and she is been picking up now. Every coach doesn’t have the same expertise or the patience, it’s just how every industry work and if you want your kid progress, keep talking to the coach. Pengu is great for kids and manager is great and he hears you. Result may not be expedited but you will get there. I do recommend Pengu for kids ~ Arun A

Before chosing Pengu, I looked at several places in the Cypress area. The website was clear with information. I called to get additional information and from the moment I called , the staff was WONDERFUL. The Young lady was super helpful, answered all questions and was very patient and kind so I signed up!!! My 5 year old son has been coming here for a few months now. Every single class he is so excited to attend. He even learned the days of the week so he would know what day Swim Class was. Every time he learns something new and I see a huge growth in him. He's already been moved up to the next level. We have had 3 teachers so far (one switch because I had to change days, and the other change because of the level up and day change) and they have all been amazing! You can tell the teacher enjoy their job and love being around the kids. I am so glad I chose Pengu. This was the best option for our family ~ Jessica H

We love this place and have already recommended it to several friends. We used to go to Houston Swim Club but much prefer Pingu now. It is not as crowded. Prices are more affordable especially when you have more than one kid enrolled. Very clean facility and trainers are patient and friendly. My kids are 1.5, 5, 6 yrs old and I have them in classes for safety - so they can learn how to float and swim without using a floatie. Mommas - I recommend starting early! I wish I had done that with my older two. It really does help! A bonus is that they have a small play area for little ones. ~ Lety S

This is an excellent swimming school. I am happy we decided on this establishment. ALL the staff is wonderful and very accommodating. My daughter loves the classes and she is getting more comfortable with water each week. Weekends are more crowded but once you are with your group for your session, it is so personalized that you don't realize it was a crowded Saturday. Special shout out to my daughter instructor: Madeline, she is always pleasant, very patient, nurturing and attentive in the water And Ms. Mandeepa at the front desk. I’m not sure why other parents are giving this place bad reviews. I think maybe the management changed because we have been here for almost 9 months and it’s great for my daughter. I guess the only I can say is that if you do call to try and talk to someone chances are slim. But I usually just bring up whatever concern I have when I go to my daughters lesson. And it’s always resolved right then and there. No business is perfect. but the instructors are great and the staff is friendly. My daughter likes it. So I can’t really say anything negative about it if all those things are positive. ~ Miya D

Coaches are all so dedicated! Both my sons love this place. One is in Coach Luis’s class, he’s made significant progress despite once being afraid of water all because of Coach Luis’s kindness, humorous attitude and patience with him. My other son who is special needs has private lessons with Coach Nick and he absolutely adores Nick. Coach Nick has accomplished so much progress with him, and has won him over because of his gentleness, kindness and passion to help him. Hands down BEST swim school! ~ Susie F

I will admit that I am probably a higher maintenance parent; and with that said, I highly recommend Pengu-Town Lake! The facility is well maintained, instructors are kind, and safety is taken seriously as they have an additional guard outside of the water at all times. Daniel had been an amazing coach, and we are seeing great improvements in our 2-year-old. We appreciate the hardwork, patience, just right challenges, and assistance that are helping him to gain skills and confidence in the water. ~ C B

We have been attending Pengu Swim School in townlake since 2019 and we love it. We make a 30 minute drive just so my kids can come get their swimming classes. Both my kiddos are on the Autism Spectrum Disorder and this pengu has trained staff and make accommodations for them. They are always friendly, professional and just amazing. Pools are clean and instructors are all good. Changing rooms are always clean and have ample room for two or 3 kids. They have a play area and restrooms to use. ~ Sharon P

We have had a wonderful experience at Pengu! Our son has made great progress since starting there this past summer! Coach Shelby has been extremely patient, kind, and dedicated to helping him achieve his goals of learning to swim, as well as decreasing his fear of water. She is an amazing coach! My daughters Abrianna and Kasandra had a blast on their first day! The front desk is very nice and walked us through everything ( great communication)the manager came by to introduce herself which is a big deal to me she was very informative and professional ! And the instructor my kids had was awesome! Everything was super clean, We can’t wait for next weeks class! I will definitely spread the word to friends and family. ~ Sheena T

My daughter enjoys taking lessons at the Cypress (Towne Lake) location. The instructors are very patient, attentive, and kind to each individual child. We all know that toddler behavior can sometimes be unpredictable! Even when a child is uncooperative or screaming, they still are super patient and understanding! Today my daughter attended a class at 10 with Coach Luis (who was subbing in). My daughter was a little scared and shutting down at first, but he did a great job of engaging with her and going the extra mile to make her comfortable. He got her to do a new skill too! I love PENGU , my daughter had improved her swimming skills since she started , and she already moved to Advance level . The staff are amazing always willing to help . The coaches take their job seriously , they are very professional . We really like how they correct mistakes to mastered perfect techniques . Every person at pengu is amazing, My two toddlers go for 1 class a week, pengu takes care of every single detail, from welcoming us once we get in to solving problems like make up days and health checks. Place is beautiful, clean and cheerful. Management, front desk and Trainors are well experienced and extremely nice. My kids has shown great progress through a short period of time ~ lubna s

My kids have been coming here for 2 years, and they absolutely love it! The instructors are all good. Special shout out to Mr. Darren, as he has been teaching one of my kids for over a year straight, and we've seen dramatic improvement. The Pingu Swim School at Cypress Tx is a very good swim school. Both my boys started to learn this summer and they are loving it! All the trainers are wonderful and helped my boys to learn the techniques at their own pace. However once they learned it, they are making a good progress. Another good thing is facility and the pool is clean and ambience is very pleasant. Thank you. ~ Vishakha K

We started going in January my daughter was ABOUT 8 months and we have been doing the baby class. We just cancelled our membership but due to having a busy schedule and needing to take a break. We loved pengu townlake and their staff and management everyone was amazing and our class teachers were amazing! Cannot recommend them enough , we will be back once we have more free time ~ Anne K

My daughter wouldn't take off her floaty at age 5. Pengu was awesome. They made her feel comfortable in the water on her own. It helped swimming and learning the skills with kids her age. Now she is a confident swimmer. We just started lessons for our 3 year old son. He loves it! After 3 lessons, he's already floating on his back. ~ Tiffany D

All of the swim instructors at Pengu are knowledgeable, kind, have fun with the kids, and help kids to learn skills correctly and quickly! The front desk staff are also kind & helpful. My girls LOVE going to Pengu each week! The makeups are super convenient to get and reschedule, too. I highly recommend Pengu Towne Lake!! ~ Jackie C
